Family Girl

I come from a very close-knit family, and am not against saying that I wouldn't be where I am today without them. Their support and their belief in my dreams is behind my motivation, and they keep me going when I find myself in a rut. First and foremost on that list has to be my Mom! She is my biggest fan, my top supporter, my Editor-in-Chief and my sounding board. She has always been there for me with motivational speeches, the right word to fit my sentence, and the occasional good kick up the rear when it's been needed, and I honestly don't know what I would do without her!

But aside from their support; their love and our life as a family is what has allowed me to grow to be the person I am today. In some ways our family is very small, and in others, we are spread out across the country! But we make time for each other, and I wouldn't change any of them for the world! My best friend; my little sister, is top of the list for getting me into trouble, and you can often find us together, either out and about at the cinema, or out in search of food or the most common - out exploring and looking for our next adventure. We have been known to have our fair share of sibling rivalry, and we get into the occasional heated discussion, but I wouldn't be without her, and woe betide the one who ever crosses her!

I also have two beautiful fur-babies at home - Benji and Lacey! The two puppies of the family are the heart of this household and always have a cuddle and a kiss on paw when I'm in need of some love.

And the most recent addition to my life, the guy who just sits and smiles when I start talking about what the voices in my head have been up to recently. He always listens when I want to talk about my stories, and encourages me every step of the way to fulfil my dreams and achieve the goals that I have set for myself. It may not have been very long in the great scheme of things, but he has changed my perception of myself and I could not imagine my life without him in it now!

Moral of the story - they are my life,
and I wouldn't ever want that to change!
