After her father was killed in the line of duty, Eloise had to toughen up in order to survive in a place that didn't care about her, but when she turned eighteen, her long lost 'sister' turned up, drawing her into a world that she barely even knew existed. Eloise suddenly found herself surrounded by women who called themselves family, women who had known her late mother.
Amongst the coven, Eloise finds sanctuary, and when they begin training her to use the magick that runs through her veins, teaching her their ways and treating her like family, she thinks she had found her place in the world. But when she is found at the scene of an apparent cult murder, Eloise must fight to prove her innocence, knowing that she cannot turn in the people truly responsible.
A familiar face at the police station claims that he can help her if she trusts him with the truth, but will anyone truly believe the tales that she has to tell?
